Conference site

The conference will take place at Scanticon Comwell's Rebild Bakker Hotel and Conference Centre, Rebildvej 36, 9520 Skoerping, Denmark, phone +45 98391212, fax. +45 98392455. DRUID will take care of all the practical arrangements, so this is for your information only. See a special web page with more information on the conference site and its environments.

Check-in

The conference starts with a plenary session which takes place on Wednesday 9, at 16:00. Before that time the participants should have made their check-in at the conference hotel. Check-in can take place between 14:00 and 16:00, but the delivery of extra materials on the DRUID conference might not start before 15:00.

Common arrival from Aalborg airport

On arrival day DRUID will arrange bus transport from Aalborg Airport to the conference site in Rebild. The best SAS flight is the 13:25 departure from Copenhagen's international airport (Kastrup). This flight arrives at Aalborg airport 14:15, and the bus will leave around 14:30. If there is an interest for this, the bus will make a stop at the main railway station of Aalborg (but only if we receive requests for this).

There are, of course, many more SAS connections from Aalborg to Copenhagen and back. You will find these connections through SAS's wordwide timetable. Be aware that DRUID cannot arrange travel for these connections (exept when there is a major clustering of arrivals). You may, on your own account, take a taxi to the conference site - but it is very expensive (about 40 kilometers).

Departure with bus for Aalborg airport

The conference ends with the lunch Saturday June 12. So the conference ends at 14:00. International participants will normally stay until Sunday (to obtain APEX fares). There will be common transport to Aalborg airport both Saturday afternoon (for the flight departing from Aalborg at 17:15). There will also be common transport Sunday morning.
