Conference site

The conference will take place at Comwell's Rebild Bakker Hotel and Conference Centre, Rebildvej 36, 9520 Skoerping, Denmark, phone +45 98391222, fax. +45 98392455. DRUID will take care of all the practical arrangements, so this is for your information only.

Check-in

The conference starts with a plenary session which takes place on Thursday January 22, at 15:00. Before that time the participants should have made their check-in at the conference hotel. Check-in can take place between 14:00 and 15:00.

Common bus transport from Aalborg Airport and Skoerping Railway Station

On arrival day DRUID will arrange bus transport from Aalborg Airport to the conference site in Rebild. The most suitable flight is the 12:40 domestic flight departure from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). This flight arrives at Aalborg Airport 13:25, and the bus will leave around 14:00. On arrival day DRUID also will arrange bus transport from Skoerping Railway Station to the conference site. The most suitable train is the 10:00 departure from Copenhagen (Kastrup 9:40). The train arrives at Skoerping 14:22.

There are, of course, many more connections from Aalborg to Copenhagen and back. You will find these connections through SAS's Travel Guide and DSB Train Timetable. Be aware that DRUID cannot arrange travel for these connections. You may, on your own account, take a taxi to the conference site - but it is somewhat expensive (about 40 kilometers).

Departure with bus for Skoerping Rainway Station and Aalborg Airport

The conference ends Saturday January 24, at 15:00. International participants will normally stay until Sunday (to obtain APEX fares) either at the conference site or in Copenhagen. There will be common transport to Skoerping Railway Station Saturday at 15:20 organised for the train departing from Skoerping 15:47 and Aalborg Airport organised for the flight departing from Aalborg at 17:35.
