The DRUID Summer Conference of 2000 was held in Northern Jutland in Rebild on the 15th-17th of June. Lundvall and Foray coffee break
Foray plays a small joke on Lundvall. Foray takes a keen interest in football and has already managed to point out France as the winners of the 2000 European Championship. He highlights Zidane as the greatest player ever. Without a small coffee break from time to time there would probably be a small revolution.

Keith Smith gives a presentation while Foray, Lazonick and Lundvall wait until it is their turn. Steinmueller gives yet another interesting and to the point presentation. Bo Carlsson, Giovanni Dosi and Peter Maskell are listening with great interest
Going to the mines On a small excursion
Many of the participants are waiting to take a bus. The conference participants have taken a couple of hours off to go and see some mines. It was a slightly dark in the mines but candles were lit so that people could see. Meanwhile the participants enjoyed a small refreshment.

The delegation is back at the conference and is keen on getting back to the presentations. Geoff Mason in particular as he is about to present. Geoff Mason is presenting his most recent work.
Having Lunch Lunch
At lunch the participants gather in the restaurant for bite and more socially inspired conversations. During dinner there is plenty of time to have small conversations with other participants.
