The four best papers of the DRUID Academy PhD Winter 2005 Conference

The selection committee has picked the four best papers of the conference. It was particularly hard in 2005, given the many high quality papers presented at the conference. Nevertheles, in the end the committee found that four papers were outstanding (in alphabetical order):

• Luisa Ferreira Lopes (with Manuel Mira Godinho):

• Alessandro Malipiero (with Federico Munari & Maurizio Sobrero):
  FOCAL FIRMS AS TECHNOLOGICAL GATEKEEPERS WITHIN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS: KNOWLEDGE CREATION AND DISSEMINATION IN THE ITALIAN PACKAGING MACHINERY INDUSTRY
• Christoph Meister (with Bart Verspagen):
  EUROPEAN PRODUCTIVITY GAPS: IS R&D THE SOLUTION?
• Mikkel Lucas Overby:
  PARTNER SELECTION CRITERIA IN STRATEGIC ALLIANCES: WHEN TO ALLY WITH WEAK PARTNERS

The four papers have been offered inclusion in the DRUID Working paper series 2005.
